Age 68, of Minnetonka. Preceded in death by parents, Dr. Hyman & Mrs. Eva B. Litman. Survived by husband, Steven J. Shamblott; children, Dr. Michael J. Shamblott (Deborah Howard-Shamblott) and Dr. Melissa J. Shamblott (Erik Jorgensen); grandchildren, Nicholas A. Shamblott, Kaitlynn M. Shamblott, and Alexander J. Shamblott; brother & sister-in-law, Dr. Gary W. & Ronda Litman; sister in law & husband, Carole D. & Leonard Levine; and many cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends; beloved pets, Soffee Sue, Dylan, and Reggae. Special thanks to Mary Jo and Cassandra. Gayle was a graduate of the University of Minnesota and held a Master's degree in Special Education from the University of St Thomas and had a rewarding career working with children and adults. Gayle was extremely courageous. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Memorial service TUESDAY, SEPT. 22ND, 11AM at HODROFF-EPSTEIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 126 E. Franklin Ave., Mpls.
